after 40 years of riding motor bikes over most of Europe and North Africa I would like to rent a a small bike this Xmas to see a bit of Cuba.Trouble is that most stories I have read seem to be out of date! So is it possible to rent say a 200cc bike - Morocco is full of Chinese Honda -copies called Dockers.Have they got to Cuba yet?
mopeds? well ok but really they are too small ,and have weak brakes to be effective so I think are more dangerous than a proper bike.
so any up to date info please - and as a country boy i don't want to be in cities much so thinking south side of the island
Looking to go to Cuba next year for a family holiday. Would love something further away from the busy hotels. Cayo Coco, Lago and Havana holidays were a long time ago and Varedero was too busy (then) for our tastes. I would love to show the kids this amazing country? Perhaps a 5 star, any suggestions near Havana or an island we should discover? Thanks!
I understand that a type of visa/tarjeta de turista is required for Cuba, is this included in the airfare if I buy it online with Cubana Air? If not, how do I get one? I have an Australian passport but will be travelling from Mexico.
I´ve been to Cuba a couple of times and I love it but I can´t seem to find a nightclub where I won´t get harrased by Jineteras. I just want to go to a Club with normal Cuban people. A nightclub where I can meet ordinary Cubans (Non - Jineteras). Could you recommend one?
Please let me know - thanks.
Going to cayo coco in April any help on the money exchange would be a great help
I will land in Veradero on New Year's Eve. So far, I haven't been able to organize a vacant room in a Casa particular.
Where would folks suggest that I get off a bus in town to walk about in order to find a vacant room in a Casa?
