Hi We have 2 weeks booked in Cuba. We have an internal flight taking us from Havana to Santiago de Cuba also so we have to make our way back. We would like to know if it would be worthwhile hiring a car to drive back via the interesting towns from one end to the other, or just take the bus. Any recommendations welcome. thanks mike
I have made the trip several times by bus and air, Viazul buses are clean, comfortable and not expensive. Car or bus if you can fit Trinidad and Cienfuguoes in please do it. I have addresses of great casas in Havana, Cienfugoes, Trinidad and Santiago de Cuba if you are interested. You will find two weeks is not enough as I did. I now go for a month each time!
