I have just booked for a "Pearl of the Caribbean" tour, six night's taking in Havana, Cienfuegos, Trinidad, Vinales Valley etc. Has anyone here done a similar tour, or can give any advice, or know of any "tip's and trick's" to make this trip evn better than it appears. Thanks Phil.
Hello Phil, I arrived from Cuba a few days ago making the same tour, five days/four nights, ending in Varadero! Vinales has wonderful rock formations, Soroa is an enchanting place, Cienfuegos is a charming XIX century city, Trinidad is a beautiful colonial town. However the distances are huge and the landscape generally boring. Some tips: Nightlife in Cienfuegos and Trinidad, nice Ancon Beach, just 18 km from Trinidad. Hugs from Lisbon.

Some touristical traps in the tour: El Mural de la Pre-Historia and La Cueva del Indio (5 CUC) in Vinales, Boca Guamá and the fake Crocodile Farm on the way from Soroa to Cienfuegos.
