We are also booking a bed-and-breakfast with hired car trip in July for 10 days. That means two Friday nights! We'd like to see the Causeway and visit family homesteads in Leitrim and Ballinskellings. Not sure how many Gathering events are go on during the week so thought we'd head to the Causeway in the beginning of the week. Any suggestions or are we trying to cover too much? Thanks
I plan on visiting Leitrim during the first weekend in November. I am on a four night trip to Ireland with my father and brother and would like to visit Leitrim, as my g-g-grandmother was born in Mohill R.C. Parrish area. Any recommendations for food/pubs, lodging, interesting spots to visit, particularly in the Mohill area? Right now, I think the day of the visit would be on a Sunday - or would anyone suggest against that? p.s. I am trying to figure out the town of my ancestor, but this may take some time. I hope to figure it out before the trip, but one never knows. I'd at least like to see the area if nothing else.
Am traveling to carrick in late oct and have been having problems deciding on where to stay. Would really like the experience of a good bed and breakfast but maybe should stay with hotel. Would love feed back on where is the best. Thanks, Sandy
Where is Adoon and how do I get to it by road from Dublin Airport?
