How do I get to Doolin By bus? As far as I understand, bus EIREANN departs from dublin to doolin three times a day, which means that if I arrive in dublin at 10 a.m., I am first in doolin at 8: 00 pm... Is there any other more flexible buslinie?
My sister and I are going to Ireland in June. We are both in our 60's and afraid to drive. We want to basically do our own thing so dont want to go on a big bus tour. Any suggestions on getting around? thanks

Spending a few days, of the 10 I have in the area, in Doolin this coming Spring, and I'm wondering which pub would be most fun to celebrate my birthday (June 2) at. Hoping for a place that offers good food, good music and a lively crowd. I'm a Canuck (Canadian) and this will be my first time in beautiful Ireland. I have been told that either McGann's or McDermott's would be good bets. Anyone have any opinions on either?

I'm a 21 year-old male looking at staying in Doolin for a week or so next year, most likely at the Allie River Hostel. Can anyone tell me what time of the year is the best time to visit this village? (Weather/prices/less tourists). Any other advice on this village would be appreciated.

We'll be on Inis Meain in April, and would like to go from there to Doolin for a Saturday night stay. Can we arrange to pick up a rental car there? Saturday night or Sunday? We'd be returning it to Dublin Tuesday. Major rental companies' online forms all seem to off only airport rentals. Thanks...
We will be in Doolin on the 20th of November. Will there be music at Gus O'Connor's on that date.
I'd like to stay a few days in Doolin and take some boat tours and bus tours. What can anyone recommend as a good central locations/hotel where I can easily walk to the pier, etc? I don't mind walking several km. I don't want to waste money on taxis. I'd love to stay at the Ballinalacken Castle Hotel but can't get an idea on how far it is from the pier, restaurants, etc. Thanx
Hi, I am getting hopelessly lost in all timetables, trying to find a way to get back to Dublin after Willie Clancy week. I have to be at Dublin airport around 10 Sunday morning. Can anyone help with advice/tip/ride? Thanks.
Hello- Because I waited too long to book, the best I could do to see some of Willie Clancy Week was to book a hotel in Ennis. We'll have a car; how awful will it be to be based that far away? What about coming back in evenings -- how late does it stay light? Are the roads particularly bad? Many thanks! We grow more excited each day.
hi anyone know if there is any public transport between shannon airport, if so cost and what time of day they run till. best regards
I'm off to County Clare in august and spending several days in Doolin, I know there are two or three ferry companies serving the Aran Islands but I am unsure as to how far in advance I'd need to book a ferry for a day trip to any of the islands. Is it possible to just turn up on the day or is advance booking required?
Am wondering how to pronounce the O'Brien's Lemaneagh Castle. It would help in my presentation of my latest trip to Ireland. Thanks!
Hi- I'm a music professor interested in visiting during Willie Clancy Summer School and also trying to get to Gleesons pub, which, as I understand it, is in west Coore. Can anyone give me tips on either of these? I'm guessing I should have a car. What is the closest I can reasonably hope to stay without spending a fortune>? How big an attraction is Willie Clancy? Many thanks,
I need to know if there is WIFI and/or internet cafe's available in Shannon? I'm staying at Bunratty and need to work as I'm there. Are there fresh produce stands? We are vegetarian. Any good hiking areas? Any help is very appreciated! Cheers! Dani

I have just booked some cheap flights for me and my wife for her birthday to shannon airport for 2 nights and was wondering where was best to stay. Ennis or Limerick or even shannon. We would like something to explore during the day and we would like somewhere with some nice restuarants and we like a drink so lots of pubs too. Any info would be great. Thanks.
Im from the united states and I am going to ireland for a few weeks. One of the places that I am staying at is Ennis and I would like to know what the night life is for my sister (17) and I (20). What is the drinking age? How old do you have to be to get into the bars? Is parking a problem? Or anything that you might think to help us enjoy the night life in Ireland.
Hi, I may be flying into Shannon at 11.10pm on a Friday night and was hoping that someone would have suggestions as to somewhere cheap (hostel?) to stay that I can get to with public transport so late at night.... Thanks!
Does anyone know where I can find a laundromat or something similar in Ennis, Ireland?
