I'm trying to write a review for the Si Como No Resort & Spa in Manuel Antonio. There is one very nice review which pretty much coincides with our experience at the hotel, but it is just listed under Costa Rica. I can't find the Si Como No Resort category anywhere under Costa Rica. I went all the way through all the 400+ listings for Costa Rica and didn't see it anywere. I also don't see Manuel Antonio and I don't see the Manuel Antonio National Park. I think this is a fairly popular place to go. What am I doing wrong?
The hotel review you have seen is probably placed under 'Costa rica' because the member who wrote it also could not find the Manuel antonia location. The VT database is huge, but it does not (and could not, imo) include everywhere. So maybe it just doesn't include Manuel Antonio etc? The database is 'fragile', to quote G, so locations are added with extreme caution. Is there anywhere nearby in the database that you could use? That's what I do when I want to write about somewhere that doesn't 'exist' on Vt. If you search for 'Costa Rica' and then click 'More destinations in Costa Rica' you will find 2000+ locations in 7 provinces, so one of them might be suitable. You could also write to feedback@virtualtourist.com and ask staff to add the location, but their doing so will take time.

I agree with the OP, that the Si Como No Resort Spa and Wildlife Reserve, is a pretty important one, and as it is in Manuel Antonio, at least that Park should be in the data base. That being said, I understand the frustrations on both sides of the website.

Quepos is the official getaway to the famous park of Manual Antonio. For this reason the two places almost always are spoken of in the same context. So perhaps you can write your review under Quepos. Another option would be the region to which Manual Antonio belongs, this is Central Pacific region.

OK I will use Quepos. I also found something in the database called Palenque Manuel but I couldn't tell on the map if that was the Spanish name for Manuel Antonio National Park.
