Hi I'm thinking of visiting Cornwall and staying at Gardens Cottage in Par. Anyone stayed there? Is it as nice as it looks? Is it a good place for visiting Cornwall attractions? Any recommendations?

Hi Sue, and a big welcome to Virtual Tourist. You'll have lots of fun here. About your question. Don't know anything about Gardens Cottage, but Par isn't to my mind one of the most picturesque places in Cornwall. Having said that, it is quite central for some really nice places, such as Fowey, Mevagissey, Looe and so on, not forgetting the famous Eden Project. And it's not that far to pop over to the more rugged north coast, to Newquay, Padstow and so on. Hope you enjoy your stay. Geoff on Bodmin Moor.
