My wife and I will be traveling Europe for 3 weeks and plan on staying in Cinque Terre for 4 days at Corniglia. My question is: is it reasonable to haul our luggage to our room (up the 377 steps) We are in our 50s and in good shape. Or is there a way to get to Corniglia without going up the steps. Thanks
I have climbed those stairs, and there really are quite a lot of them. With luggage wouldn't be fun, but that's where the train stops, so there you are. Alternatively, you might consider taking a taxi from a neighboring town, say Monterosso, because that would at least be able to get you up to the edge of town, if not all the way to your door.

Hi, There is a shuttle bus at the train station which will take you up to the town,so don't worry about your luggage. Cheers!!!

Yes- the shuttle bus will get you up there from the station, and it is (usually) timed with the arrival of the trains. (just curious, what is the subject Michael for??)

The shuttle buses are usually included in the price of your CT daily pass.
