Which UK clothes retailers deliver to Corfu?
What was the service like? E.g. postage and packaging costs, delivery times etc.
We are an active senior couple from the USA who will be visiting in Corfu on Sunday September 9th. We would enjoy meeting an English-speaking resident or couple who would like to show us around Old Town and hopefully create a friendship. Learning about your culture and way of life is of interest to us. And this is a good way to create peace in the world. If interested and free that day, please post a reply. No professional tour-guides, please.
Hello, I am planning a 4 or 5 days stay in Corfu, it seams to me the island is sooo big and I am sure is not many days but this is what I can this time. I have few questions to better use these 4 days: strategically and logistically what is the best town to stay in? the town which is nice, close to nice beaches and at same time easy to go travel the island from there? what about night life is nice in this town? any names of apartment, residence, resort, bed&breakfast, hotels you recommend me in this town? thanks
We have chosen our holiday in Moraitika this year and someone that has already arrived there found us a room to Fondas Apartments. have you ever been there? Thanks, Anca
Hello all I am getting the boat from Sarande to Corfu next month but I won't have time to spend a night in Corfu. Can someone tell me if there is a luggage storage area near the port where I can drop my bags for a few hours while I walk around the town? Also, if there is a tourist info office near the port they would surely know for sure. Thanks everyone! DG
I'm arriving in Corfu on July 1st at 7:00 pm. I'd like to spend a few days on the island before heading to Albania on the 5th. I understand the ferry will probably leave at 9:00 am and I'll have to be there early to clear customs. I'm currently looking at the Pink Palace- it seems like a pretty "energetic" hostel, which should put me in that holiday mood at the beginning of my trip! I also looked at Sunrock, but I think PP would be better for me. Are there any other hostels worth considering? Then, I'm also wondering about my options for getting from PP to the ferry terminal in the morning. Any ideas?
I've heard that a number of the ferries and hydrofoils between Corfu and Paxos have had their licences withdrawn by the Greek Government, does anyone know anything about this? My friend is getting married on Paxos in June and I'm worried that we won't be able to get there! Any help would be much appreciated, L.
Is there anything we shouldn't miss. We will be here for day. What is best way to get around. Like to sight see. Good cafee?

Is there somewhere in Corfu his house which can be visited?
I am going to Corfu with my boyfriend and we will stay in Sidari in the Zeus appartment. I would like to ask that in Sidari are there shops(clothes, souvenirs, supermarket)? What are the prices in the supermarkets? Are there discos or clubs in Sidari? Which is the best disko? And what activities can we do in sidari(can we practice water sports)? Are in Sidari good restaurants?
We are arriving into Corfu by cruise ship for a 12 hour stop. I am thinking of hiring a small car and just doing our own thing. Can anyone suggest a nice beach - clothing optional is good - for a nice few hours, and, maybe combine this with a couple of hours suggested sightseeing. It looks a magic island.
Hi,I am planning to go to Corfu(Ipsos) and I was wondering about night life there? Аre there any disco clubs or pubs or something?
We have just a few hours in Corfu arriving at the port in Corfu Town on Easter Sunday (24th April) at 10am. Are we too late to see/ join in any traditional Greek Easter celebrations? We would be particulary interested in visitng a less crowded and maybe more authentic (?) village celebration & wonder if this is possible? We need to be back in Corfu Town by about 4pm. Any ideas?
Thinking of going to Roda mid September. It will be our first time to any Greek island proper (excluding day trips to Kos) We are looking at the Afrodite Hotel and it seems to get good reviews, unless you know something different. Does anyone have an idea on how much it would cost to hire a car? I will search VT for things to see and do but we would appriciate any suggestions you may have. There may be further questions :o) Thank you.
We are travelling to Aghois Gordios in May and wanted to know what the nightlife is like in the town and what the weather is like in early May?

Hi, We are going to Roda for a week in September and usually like to hire transport while we are away. Does anyone know prices for scooter, quad and small car, as the prices I am seeing advertised online seem double the price we normally pay on other greek islands. I just wondered if these are correct? Also any other info on the resort of Roda would be greatly appreciated.
Hi, we are thinking about visiting Corfu for a week in early October and would like to know what the weather will be like and if this is a good time of year to visit. Any help much appreciated. Tricky Dicky
Hi, we are trying to decide on our holiday destination for next year and were looking for some feedback on Moraitika. We are a family with two teenagers, 13 and 14, looking for a relaxing holiday, but not "too quiet and boring" for the kids. We will be travelling independently, booking flights, taxis and accommodation separately. Thanks.
Hi, we're arriving in Corfu for one day on board a cruise (1000-1800) 2 adults/2 children, both 12 would love to find a boat for snorkeling and showing us the caves or great beach - any recommendations most of the boat tours can't fit us due to cruise liner's schedule. Ideas?
I would like to go to Corfu in August for a vacation and I might be traveling alone. I come from Serbia and traveling by our agencies means paying full price for two people. I looked on the Internet but it seems that these villas are more expensive than those our agents book. Could you tell me if there is any possibility to find accommodation if you are traveling alone up to 20 euros per night. I would stay for 13 nights and I would prefer a village that is not far from Kerkyra. Kassiopi is great, Liapades seems very beautiful, Ipsos seems quite nice. From what I've seen. Thanks in advance for any info, idea, suggestion, comment.
I'm going to Corfu in 5 weeks' time (assuming the planes are flying again by then!). I don't want to drive while on the island. I'll be staying in Nissaki and want to spend a day in Corfu town. Can I get a bus there and back in one day? And is the bus service as bad as I've heard or is that just a cliche?
can you get to corfu town from the airport by public transport
