Imbi, last Tuesday I found a good chineses take away lunch in Copenhagen which located at the beginning of the shopping street (Burger king in front) on your left named Beijing.... You can choose three out 6/7 items including rice/nuddles/ chickens / shrims etc ... for 30 Kr. Good time in Copenhagen!

Meeting in Copenhagen, on 12 June, Saturdat at 1800 hrs at bryggeriet. It's central, so you'll find it easy (Beside the main entrance to Tivoli, with Hard Rock cafe on the other side.

ah.. I am not sure if I recommend that for a dinner .... it was good for a lunch / brunch take away! Jon, how come you are making the meet-up in the weekend, are you joining from Malmø or Roskilde? Hope you have a good time!

how awful that i have to miss out on a copenhagen meeting, but i'll be on the countryside saturday for a very important meeting.

Ah the famous restaurant Beijing. Famous in Denmark for putting 45 people in Hospital in just one day. Apparently the guy who cleaned the chicken didn't find it neccessary to wash his hands after a visit to the toilet. Tourists are blissfully unaware of this though. About the meeting, as a complete football nutter you have choosen one of the worst times to meet for me. Just right smack in the middle of the opening match of Euro 2004.

ahem... in Denmark even the luxurious restaurant are famous for cleanliness.. couple of years ago I read a survey that in most of the restaurants inspector found urin in the salt served... welcome to Denmark!

hmm...i think I forgot the exact source of the news..so can't show any hard evidence..so just enjoy restaurents whether it is Beijing or not.. Apparently I didn have any problem and it was stomachful thanks I found it gonna eat again coming week I guess.

Come on, that's not true. All countries have these stories, but I've never heard them from any authoritive source. It's just people spinning tales. All restaurants in Denmark have regular surprise inspections from the healt authorities, and Beijing was closed down by one of those and the illegal Chinese imigrants working there sent home. You can see the time and result of these inspections in the window of all restaurants.

it is shame that i dont have much time to stretch my visit as I have run out of my holidays due to my trip to Malaysia. May be next time or in London , i am huge fan a swell but travel comes first than football.

Haha, yes I was thinking "what do you mean, Charlotta's tip" :-))) As it is a weekend, I will not be able to make it - am happy not having to cross the bridge EVERY day of the week :-))) No, of course I do sometimes but this weekend we will try out our new tent somewhere in the middle of Skåne :-)
