Is there any way you can travel from Istanbul straight to Constanta without flying to Bucharest first?

Here they say about Ozlem Tur but there website doesn't work. I think you better call them.
I also found this but again not much info - http://www.vardarturizm.com.tr/, at least telephones.

There's a bus from Istanbul to Constanta. It's about 12 hours though. But, no, there are no direct flights

Tes, there are several buses a day that go to Constanta from Istanbul which arrive near the railway station and take less than 12 hours.
They usually leave from Esenler Otogar bus station, 10kms west of the city
