Hi everyone I am looking to move to Atlanta in November and I was looking in the area of Jonesboro, Eastpointe, or College Park. I have two teen-age kids both are good in school honor students, so schools are important to me, as well as a well mix culture and a safe area. We are African Americans and would just like information on a fun safe area to live. I heard that Atlanta is a nice place to live and we just want to make it our home. Thank you everyone
We currently have a reservation at Motel 6 on Victory drive for my son's graduation from Basic (Ft. Benning) on 2/24; however, we are receiving mixed messages about the area (good from Chamber of Commerce, bad from form letter from Ft Benning - who knows how old this form letter may actually be). Our second consideration is Days Inn on Macon Road (I-185, Exit 4). Wondering about Continental Breakfast at both locations, restaurants, shopping - both locations as we will be there for several days, but really don't want to eat out three meals a day either.
