Hi there, Just wondering if anyone can help us. We are coming to Sri Lanka in June 2008 and are looking for a Hindu priest to conduct a ceremony in Hindi, English, Gujarati or Sanskrit. We will be staying in Bentota, but are willing to travel. If anyone can help us, we be grateful. Many thanks, JS
There is a Hindu Priest who runs a beautiful little Temple at Pimbura, which is less than an hour away from Bentota. I'm sure he would be glad to help you but his English isn't good and I don't know if he speaks Sanskrit. There is also a Hindu Temple at Galle but I don’t know anyone there. There is no shortage of Hindu Priests in Sri Lanka; some friends of mine recently hired 3 to do a ceremony on their new house, finding one shouldn’t be difficult but if you don’t get sorted out give me a shout nearer the time and I will ask someone to sort you out. I was pretty sure that the hotels arrange Hindu weddings can’t they help?
