    • Cycling and vineyard tours in and around Uze

      Uzès Feb 18, 2015 at 12:00 AM

      Hello!

I am visiting Uzes in September and am hoping to do some (very) leisurely cycling in the surrounding countryside and was wondering if it's fairly flat and there are any nice routes that might go past a vineyard or two?
I'm also looking at organised vineyard tours in the area and was hoping people might have some suggestions?
      Manu thanks in advance :)

by sharon.messett Online Now Nov 26, 2014 at 1:14 PM

Hi, Can anyone please advise of any souvenir shops I could contact please in Collioure? My 7 year old son on our recent holiday bought a little snow globe Collioure and Argeles and has treasured it. However, it has just been dropped and smashed and he is devastated. I would really like to know if I contact any of the shops there to perhaps buy a new on online or over the telephone and have posted. Any help please with this? Thank you. Sharon

      Is a hire car essential?

by NickClarke Online Now Aug 7, 2014 at 12:18 AM

We are staying in Collioure for 2 weeks in August and had hoped to avoid hiring a car by using public transport to access the local area. There seem to be many activities and things to do (hiring bikes, boat trips, exploring by foot, etc), but I'm keen to learn from fellow travelers' experience. We have 2 boys (10 and 14) so need to be mindful to keep them active!

    • Winter in Collioure

by n2j2 Online Now May 20, 2011 at 7:26 PM

We are looking for somewhere to stay in France from January to end of february or March. We will be traveling to Midi-pyrenees for Spring but would like to find somewhere a little warmer (dryer) for the end of the winter. Our biggest concern is that we are not in a tourist area that would be dead during the winter.

      Self-catering in Collioure

by foona Online Now Nov 24, 2009 at 10:51 AM

We've started to look for self-catering apartments in Collioure for next summer. We have found these ad-sites:

      Homelidays. homelidays.co.uk/EN-Holidays...

      Holidaylettings. holidaylettings.co.uk/collio...

      HomeAway. holiday-rentals.co.uk/collio...

      Self-Catering-Breaks. self-catering-breaks.com/Pro...

Does anyone have any experience booking from one of these? Any recommendations? Are the ads reliable? Do the ads show the real truth about the apartments?

Do you know about a gem of an apartment not found in these sites?

      Thanks for any info.
