Is this a good holiday spot for two 17 year old boys? Is there enough to do e.g. bars places to go in the evening etc?

    Yes, Interdit aux moins de 18 ans or 21 ans is a sign you will often see on disco and club doors I am afraid. The cafes and bars are OK of course but the legal drinking age is 18, same as UK.
