Port Canaveral, where the cruise ports are located is a small community on the outermost barrier island in the area (there are two). Just south of there is Cape Canaveral and Cocoa Beach (all within three miles). There are some nice shells, nothing unusual (but then I see them all the time). There are often "sea beans" in the area which are quite collectible (check online to find out more information about them, their origin, and such). Enjoy! Quixpat
