I have a photo of a statue inside St Colman's but I am not certain who it is? Looks like it could be St. Mary, however it may be St. Colman. Any help?
There are loads of statues in the cathedral and of course like all catholic churces it has many statues of Mary. Can you scan the photo ?

Yes, if we could see the figure's attributes there would most likely be iconographically conventional clues to identity. What is it wearing, holding in its hands, doing, etc?

Yes indeed. I've been searching in vain here for my booklet on the cathedral but just can't put my hand on it. If you give details I can easily check it out though as I go to Cobh frequenly.

My Saint encyclopedia gives no specific attributes for any of the several St Colmans, but the BVM is easy enough.

To be honest I can't recall noticing any special statues here. The niches along the side have the usual small altars and shrines to the BVM, SH and the more popular saints. Each of these have their own statues but they are nothing special.
