I am visiting, Michigan for 9 days, and will include trip to Cleveland OH, for visiting old family friends. This is annual visit, to the couple who are in their early 80's.
We usually visit in and around the city, they live in Parma Heights, just outside city limits. This time I would love to take them somewhere different but I don't have clue where.
They ate spritely and very mobile 80yr olds & love dancing.
I don't mind I'd its couple of hrs drive away to take them somewhere special where we can spend all day may be stay overnight. Some quaint village/little town, antique fair,Christmas fair...?
Can you suggest something? Bear in mind it will be end of Nov and is usually bitterly cold at that time of the year.
Many thanks .
We are staying in Chagrin one night, driving to Niagara Falls, and will fly out of Cleveland a few days later. We hope to see the fall colors and fly out of Cleveland on a Sat. Where should we stay when we return to Cleveland in order to fly back to New Orleans? I would love a shuttle to the airport yet have a few things to do in the area since we don't fly out until 5 PM. Suggestions -- for the entire trip would be fine! THANKS
I am flying into Cleveland Airport and am going to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. I bought tickets to the R&R ahead of time so don't want a package. Where should I stay for under $100 per night?
I am trying to find a place to eat on a Saturday night for a group of about 30 people that isn't too expensive....

Hi I am going to be working in Cleveland during November. I am going to be staying in North Royalton, is there a bus that I can take to/from downtown? Thanks!
I have the largest of tractor-trailer combos, the 53' which I use to haul produce from California to NY, and dry goods from Midwest back to CA. I've driven through downtown Cleveland's 90 degree bank turn freeway many times. But, I would like to park the truck in a vacant spot, safely far enough from bad neighborhoods not to get vandalized, and then walk the dog into downtown town and along the waterfront. If the dog weren't with me much of the time, I'd park at the Pilot Truck Stop and the junction of I-80 and I-77, and then take the 45 minute bus ride downtown, but maybe there's an area cleared of some old factory where I can park the truck. Any locals know where I should go...Bear in mind, my truck isn't an RV, it's a lot bigger...
what's happening Cleveland? I'll be visiting your fair city on the 5th of May for a show at the Peabody's.. Anyone been there before? I'm seeing HED PE, mushroomhead, livan.. some loud music! I'm hoping the venues sounds system rocks cuz i know Livan puts on a pretty sick set. anyway, any one going or know of some good watering holes around the venue?
We had one back home in Phoenix where you could pay for your kid to hang out in a little play land while you watched. Is there anything like that in this area?
My wife and I are planning a trip to Cleveland in November. We were just curious what kind of things there are to do along the way, i.e. interesting landmarks, restaurants, etc.
How far is it from the amtrak station to a red line stop?
I am going to be traveling out of the Cleveland, OH airport over the holidays, has anyone had any experience with those 3rd party parking services there?
Hi, I've just moved to the area and I need an internet café where I can scan a document. (I have a computer and internet access, but printer/scanner). All the ones I've found on the internet seem to be out of business. Does anyone know of one? I am in Beachwood, but am willing to drive to get to one. I'm having no luck!
What would be the route or best way to use public transportation from the airport to 29010 Cedar Road? I would be flying in on a weekday.
come on...you people don't live in the "stone age" do you? There has to be restaurant that has view of river or lake somewhere in the area?
Meeting a buddy in September for a golf trip and have never
been to the area but would love a bar (with food) or restaurant
that has a patio or other view of the lake or river in Cleveland
area with-in 30 miles....thanks, Donna
Friend was there ten years ago and wants to take me there also...still a good place?
WHEN COMING FROM SHAKER HGTS., HOW LATE DOES THE TRANS RUN TO TOWER CITY?
I have only been to Cleveland a few times in the past and am planning on visiting this weekend. Does anyone out there know of a great Latin club/bar that would be relaxed but fun and play salsa/merengue music???
Planning a trip to Cleveland Clinic, was unable to tell how far amtrak is from the main campus? Also, does anyone know of inexpensive housing nearby. Even their facility is 135.00/night. Ouch!
Any help greatly appreciated.
I am travelling to Cleveland in January on an official visit and will be staying in a hotel downtown. Any recommendation for a good cab service as I would need to travel around a bit?
What is the best way to get from the Greyhound station to Tower City. Is there public transportation? Are there taxis at the bus station?

We're heading to Cleveland for a long weekend. Already have plans to see the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. What other places are suggested? Also what about great eats??
Recently moved back to the Cleveland-area. Looking to meet with like-minded, travel bound people.
I am going to Cleveland in August and will have a couple of days husband free, I am an avid sewer making all of my own clothes, can anyone tell me where there are shops close to the central business district that specialise in fabric for clothes.
I going to cleveland next weekend with my wife and 14 year old step daughter I want to go to rock and roll hall of fame anyone sugest what other things we could do while there and somehere to stay that be near some resturants and is safe.
At mid of november I will visit Cleveland. Is there any member from Cleveland to suggest a suitable hotel at Cleveland?
I would like to spend a couple of days in the Beechwood area while visiting Cleveland. Can someone please advise which hotel is "better?" (It would be for 2 adults) Any advice would be great!
Hi! 'Anyone going to see Van Halen on Oct. 10th at Quicken Loans Arena? (with tickets on the floor?)
My brother is taking a Greyhound in from New York and me, from Toledo. Once we meet up at the bus station we have to walk to the Holiday Inn Express (.03 mi from Quicken Loans Arena), check in, then get primed for the concert. I haven't seen him in 2 years! I can't wait.
WE don't want to spend another arm and a leg (the tickets and the hotel were a lot!) but thought we'd grab a bite and have a few drinks on the way from the hotel to the concert. Any suggestions of where to go between the hotel on Euclid St., and the Arena? Is there any place decent to eat before we leave the next day from the Greyhound station (near it)? Is that a "shady" area by any chance...? 'Think we should take a cab from there to and from the hotel, or would it be okay to walk?
If you have a seat on the floor, section 4, let me know! He'll be up by the stage and I'll be there in my seat, hopefully standing at least, but all by my lonesome. (I am 47 yrs old, not bad looking but a little extra poundage, and I'm a really nice person, and fun to go to concerts with - not too loud, but not a mealy mouse either.) I don't do mosh pits...can't breathe up there anymore. I'm still a concert aficionado, it's just that mosh pits aren't like they were in the 70's when I first started going to concerts.
Thanks for any suggestions that anyone can make to help us enjoy ourselves while we are there for just a day and a half without having to spend another 100. dollars! (Gees - the t-shirts will be another 100.00 - hope he has enough to cover it LOL!!)
Thanks for reading my post,
I am looking for a cheap hotel near the warehouse district and am not sure where would be a good place. Any ideas would be helpful.
