Probably not, because it sounds like it was in The Flats, which has decidedly died in the past few years. If you want to go out in Cleveland, check out the Warehouse District or the Detroit Avenue area in Lakewood.

Ok...if that isn't the right place to go is there a bar or restaurant that has views of either the lake or river? That you for the update on the Flats

I agree that the Flats is not the place to go anymore. I don't think the restaurant you mentioned is even in business anymore. There are no views of the lake or river, but I highly recommend some of the restaurants along East 4th Street in downtown Cleveland. East 4th is blocked off to vehicle traffic for a couple blocks and is lined with restaurants and bars. I don't know how much you want to spend and you will need reservations well in advance, but Iron Chef winner Michael Symon has a restaurant called Lola on East 4th. Just west of downtown in the area called Ohio City is the Great Lakes Brewery, which has good food and unbelievable beer that is brewed on site. They are also a "green" restaurant and are very environmentally conscious if that matters to you. Their beer is amazing. Another fun place I recently discovered is in Lakewood and is called The Beer Engine. It is not on the Lake either, but has the largest selection of specialty beers I have ever seen. About 25 microbrews on tap plus another 250 available in bottles, many of which are rare and hard to find beer if that is your thing - it is mine. As far as finding a restaurant on the Lake, I don't know of any specifically, but you will want to look in a community such as Lakewood or Bay Village on the west side of town. Personally, if you wish to make a day of it, I would go to the West Side Market (also in Ohio City across the street from the Great Lakes Brewery) in the afternoon and get fixins for a picnic lunch. West Side Market is a great place in and of itself. I would take the picnic lunch to Edgewater Park and eat it right at the Lake's edge. If it is a nice day it will be beautiful. Then for dinner I would go to somewhere on East 4th St. or to the Great Lakes Brewery. I have some of this stuff on my Cleveland page, but it isn't as detailed as it should be. Good luck and let me know if you have any other questions I can help with.

I'm pretty sure Shooters was remodeled within the past few years, so if that's true, I would hope it's better now.
