good day Everyone, My name is Natasha, and my partner and i are travelling Thailand soon.... we have been advised to take the southern bus terminal to chumphon... and from Chumphon what would be the best way to get to phuket? all answers are welcome as i would appreciate it very much:)
We are so excited about being invited to a typical Thai wedding December 30 in Chumphon. Since this is our first trip to Thailand, we have so many questions. We are looking for help! We are planning to fly into Bangkok. Should we take the train to Chumphon or rent a car and drive? If we take a train, will we be able to rent a car or easily get transportation in Chumphon? We'd like to visit the natural beauty of the province as well as attend the wedding, so we will need to be able to get around. Also, what does one wear to a traditional Thai wedding? Does my husband need to bring a suit? What kind of dress do I need? And what about gifts? Are gifts given to the bride only? The bride and groom? The bride's family? We will be the only representatives of the groom's family in attendance (He is from the U.S.). Any and all advice and recommendations are greatly appreciated! Including advice on hotels. Thank you very much! Carol
Hi. We are planing to come to Thailand without booking accommodation, because i hope to find something that's unadvertised and cheaper. Is it possible in peak season or will we struggle?
Is it possible to catch a bus from phuket to chumphon and still make the boat trip to koh tao island?? Thanks
Hello , I plan to go to Chumphon, also anyone can help more the information hotels? The price is not more expensive, and the hotel is clean and quiet and can go to travel around place, either.
We like to travel by car ( with driver) from Bangkok to Chumphon and later from Chumphon to Phuket Is this easy to arrange when we are there or can you give us a webadress or something for more information.
Can you tell me what the distance is between the resort and the city? How long we have to walk to the city from the beach??
We're taking the ferry from Samui to Chumphon Dec 28 and want to rent a car and drive to Kho Lahk area. Are there rental agents there? would it be easier to just get a driver instead? How long a drive if we go down #4 road? Thanks Geoff--Kuwait
Hi to all, I am planning to visit Chumphon flying out of Bangkok, is it better to fly to Chumphon airport or to Surat Thani airport? Steve.
Hi, I am thinking of staying in Chumpon for a couple of days before going to Koh Tao, any advise on where to stay, would Surat Thani be better? Thanks Steve.
