I really don't want to spend 25 - 30 bucks on a cab, I ll be on a budget and carrying only a small over the shoulder bag.. is there a place close to the airport where I can buy the metrocard, or are Panamanians good enough to help out a stranger ? I would pay reasonably above the cost of the dollar ride if a friendly fellow bus rider would let me on with their card( as we often do here inNew York City where we have a very similar procedure, and which is also very inconvenient for visitors arriving by air)
Hi fello travellers
I will be visiting Colon Panama for a day as one of our stops during a cruise together with my wife and our six months old baby.
Can anyone suggest whether there's anything we can do or places to visit? Is it safe? Or it would be a better option to spend the day on board and take it easy?
Thanks for the feedback.
Have a two week slot during New Years time frame and trying to decide on which one to choose.
Anyone want to offer up any opinions? Boco del Toras sounds nice. I know Guatemala would be beautiful and Honduras would offer up some cool stuff and probably less people than the others, I assume.
Thinking I will avoid Costa Rica during this time and I have been to Nicaragua already.
