Hi can anyone give me a rough guide as to how much the restaurants charge, thanks Also, are there lots of supermarkets in Chioggia?
Hy, a full meal in Chioggia( hors d’oeuvres, starter, main course) starts from 30 Euro. It depends what you want to eat and drink: if you want a wild seabass and a good bottle of wine, the bill will be very expensive. Supermarkets: there are many but not too big: Coop, A&O, Billa ecc... but if you like fish, I suggest you to buy it in the fish market in the center of Chioggia: you can found the catch of the day cheaper than supermarkets. Marco is right. I can add that, if have the possibility, just take the car and follow the SS309 road (Romea) or the so called Monselice-mare (SP14) and find some good Trattoria (there are manies not so far from Chioggia): they're usually cheaper than the ones in Chioggia and fish is great.
