Fish market and food in Chioggia

Hallo to all! I am going to Chioggia on 25th June for a day trip from Padova. What time is the best for visiting fish market? Except early morning is there afternoon catch? Is there any good local Tratoria with fresh fish food? I would prefer real local however simple more then any tourist fast food... Thanks! Richard
