What should I pay attention for Yangtze River Cruise

My family and I, four persons, decide to cruise on Yangtze River in April. I need to know whether Apr. is a best time to have a Yangtze River and what clothes we should take and how is the weather in April.

Hi We visited China for 24 days May 2011, weather was beautiful, usually around 22c max from Beijing to Shanghai. Our 4 day cruise on the Yangtze was pleasant, days and nights were nice with max temp low twentiec C. We would have the first week of June. I would expect weather to be reasonably good in latter part of April (cooler than we experienced).
