Hi I was planning a vacation to Perito Moreno but it looks like my visa to Argentina will not be issued I do have a Chile visa tho.... so any chance i can see perito moreno glacier or any similarly awesome glaciers in chile? thx for the tips Mark
Perito Moreno is a purely Argentinian sight. In Chile you could visit Torres del Paine NP. The Grey Glacier would be a possibility to see an impresiive glacier. Otherwise a boat trip from Puerto Natales to the Balmaceda and Serrano Glaciers. Hi Jaap The lago grey boat trip looks good. The website is not too interactive tho. Ill have to email them. Uhm re the price, how much is the boat ride? and what airport to land in? I shall be in Santiago up until Nov 20 so im free to roam the south american landscape after that haha Thx Mark

I you mean the boat trip to Balmaceda/Serrano Glaciers it is 65.000 Chilean pesos. We didn't do the other one on Lago Grey, so I can not tell you about it (during our visit the weather wasn't that good). Normally you have to fly to Punta Arenas with LAN or Sky Airlines; but in summer season there are also some flights with Sky Airlines to Puerto Natales. Jaap
