How long would you figure it'd take to get from Santiago, Chile to Buenos Aires , Argentina by land in a car or bus?
From Córdoba (West Argentina) to Santiago it took me around 9-10 hours by bus... and it must be at least another 12-15 hours from Córdoba to BA. But that's just a guess! Nicole

that estimate sounds about right. there are direct tickets from santiago to bs.as. which is probably faster and cheaper (unless your bus breaks down, but that never happens)

I have taken the bus from Santiago to Buenos Aires. It took about 22hrs. The longest holdup was at the border high in the Andes just before arriving in Mendoza. I enjoyed the bus trip very much. You can see some of the bus route on my home page of V/T
