O'Hare to North Water Street

I don't want to spend a fortune on taxis, but I have to get from O'Hare to the Sheraton that's right off the river on North Water Street. Can't I take the metro to get there? (And I'm OK with some walking involved.) If this is possible, does anyone know of the best train route to get from the airport to the hotel? Thanks! Andrea
