OOPS I made a mistake in typing my question. I should have asked about Maleria in Chiang Rai and not Chiang Mai as I typed.....sorry

Do bring enough mosquito spray. The essentiality to eat Malaria pills seems very little. And actually it would be worse in case your body has the by-effect to the drugs. At least I did not take any drugs while travelling in the jungle and returned safely.
