I am travelling to Ukraine in May to see some family in Ivano-Frankivsk but I have planned to take a day out to Chernivsti for just 1 day. What are the must see things in Chernivsti.
Where would you recommend me to go?
The Chernivtsi National University :) Beautiful architecture. I liked the geogrphy classroom - it looks like from the beggining of 20th century. As far as I remeber it used to be a bishops palace.
It is on the list of UNESCO World Heritage Site.

It may sound a little strange, but visiting Chernobyl and Pripiat is a must! Make sure you take some photos because there's a lot to see. Many photographers go to Pripyat for a photo-session.
