hi anyone know about the new express train to bangalore ? has it started yet and is it true that it only takes 2 hours ?
I doubt that any Indian train can make it between the two cities in two hours. There are a number of trains between Chennai and Bangalore, though. At least 6 trains if my memory serves me right. The fastest of the lot would be Shatabdi Express between the two cities. It usually takes about 6 hours to get from one city to the other. Taking a domestic flight would end up taking as much time considering commute to and from airports, check-in time, etc., although time in air would be just 45 minutes. Trains take you right into the city; but airports are on the outskirts.
