Going to be in Charlotte for a weekend at the end of Septmeber. Is there a particular area that we should be staying in? Would like to be around shops, dining, etc. I'll start browsing some travelpages for things to do but my first concern is getting a hotel in a good location. Thanks.
I recommend the SouthPark area.....Pineville.... or the Ballantyne area. They are they safest ( except watch the SouthPark Mall parking deck if alone and at night), most upscale, and have the best variety of shopping and restaurants.
