change location

on Kreta?

Hello, I will be arriving in Heraklion at 8am. I will be takign a ferry to Thira next morning. What would be the ebst way to spend time on Crete. And which area should I go to, Chania or stick to Heraklion? Thanks!

    Driving from Heraklion to Chania would take you more than 2 hours each way so i think it is best you plan something in the Heraklion area. The archeological museum and a visit to Knosso would be great to spend a day or a visit to one of the beach village nearby. Happy travel, Orietta
