I ate at a wonderful restaurant in the Venitian Old Town on the waterfront. At the end of the meal they served, I believe, vanilla ice cream and a wonderful liquor. What is the liquor? Thank you in advance.

Usually at the end of a meal they offer Raki (TSIKOUDIA). Its very strong and has a clear color and its served in small shot glasses. Hope I helped.

I could be wrong but they usually use Grand Marnier (Im spelling this wrong but you get the drift)for most of their deserts. They even use this liquor in their crepes! Try this next time your their: Crepe w/ chocoloate, banana, and that liquor. Hope i helped somewhat!

Dear Eirhnh, I believe it was Raki from what I have been able to read. I read that this in not exported, that it is generally homemade like our moonshine. Thanks for your reply. I loved Chiana and would love to come back. Thanks, Roger
