Driving from Geneva airport to Chamonix

Hi All, Me and my partner will be travelling to Chamonix this weekend and were wondering if it is a safe option to drive from Geneva airport straight into Chamonix. Our flight arrives at 9:30pm so it will be nightime! I've done some research and the transfer coaches seem quite expensive and take longer. Thanks in advance! Elemi

Hi I spent two weeks last year in Chamonix. While there i drove to Geneva airport to pick up a friend. The jouney takes about 1 hour each way. I don't think you will any problems as the directions are clearly marked and are on motorways most of the way. Don't forget when leaving the airport to follow the signs for FRANCE. Have fun
