      Laundry near hard rock hotel

      Pattaya May 20, 2013 at 4:50 PM

We will be in Pattaya midway during our two week trip to Asia in July And will need to do laundry. I emailed the hard rock to see if they do laundry, but also wanted to see if there are any laundry places close by the hard rock, don't want to drag laundry around.

      Karen souvenirs?

      Bangkok May 18, 2013 at 5:26 AM

We are set to visit thailand, Bangkok and Pattaya, soon and I wanted to know if you can find Karen souvenirs in either Bangkok or Pattaya--their crafts looks beautiful. It looks like their villages are too far to visit on this trip.

      Bangkok May 6, 2013 at 3:19 PM

Just wondering if the bkk metro had tons of riders late at night on weekends, ie I don't want to be getting on a desolate subway at 11pm. I think the stations we will be going to are lumpini, sukhumvit and si lom.

      Evening plans for bkk

      Bangkok May 6, 2013 at 3:58 PM

Not sure if should do a night river cruise OR have dinner at bed supper club--will just have two nights in bkk, first night, which is a Saturday, thinking cabbages and Condoms for dinner, patpong night market then drinks at our hotel, banyan tree. Then the next night (after having a private driver take us to grand palace, chucktuck and maybe mbk, then the question is the cruise or bed. All the cruises are for two hours, I think that is long since we don't want to eat on the boat. Bed supper club seems interesting, but don't want to miss out on bkk at night.

by keefos Online Now Aug 16, 2009 at 11:30 AM

There used to be a few places where you could get food drink and a massage, on the beach, just along from the Regent Hotel. When we stayed at the Regent in 2005 & 2007, we used to regularly visit one of these. Unfortunately when we went again earlier this year, they were not there anymore. The ladies that worked there were very friendly, and we all got on really well with them. We can remember the names of two of them - they were called Ruby and Pen. We will be back in the area next April, and are wondering if anybody knows where they are now working?

Hi there, I've just seen a really good deal to Cha-am. I have been to Thailand before but just Bangkok and Koh Samui. What's Cha-am like? I'll be going with my fiance, we enjoy chilling out on nice peaceful beaches, snorkelling as well as exploring the local area by car or foot. Can anyone give me any info on Cha-am? Is it important to stay in a particular area? Also, is there a good time of year to go? Thank you so much... Sally x
