Is there a ferry from Giardini Naxos to stromboli? we want a day trip,and coming back to Giardini N. after seeing the volcano erruption in the evening of the same day.

We are going to Taormina on Sunday for a week and the holiday includes car hire. However we are arriving having had no sleep and are worried about driving there in an unfamiliar environment, tired. Is the journey easy or would we be better to forgo the car and travel by public transport?

have read many horror stories online of car hire in Sicily and so wanted to choose more reputable brands such as Avis or Hertz. However we need a 6 seater and the only operators to offer those at Palermo Airport are Thrifty or Maggiore both of whom have some awful reviews - anyone out there recently hired with Thrifty or Maggiore at Palermo airport - what was your experience?

I am planing a trip to Trapani, from 23.06 until 30.06 and I am totally in doubt about rent a car. My husband and I don't like driving too much, but I've heard at the public transport in Trapani is not so often and it could be more stressful than if we rented a car. Is it true?

We are going to stay in the old town and planning to visit:

Mozia Island
Erice
Marsala
Monte Cofano Natural Reserve
Segesta
San Vito Lo Capo

Does anyone suggest anything else?

I am looking for cheap accomodation in Nato, Avola, Portopallo ar somewhere around at the beginning of August (for 3 weeks). I only need it to be near to the beach. Everything I find on internet is already booked. Can anything help me with that?

We're thinking of Sicily as our honeymoon destination in late September, early October. Is that a terrible time to visit Sicily?

Also, where's the perfect location for a honeymoon? We love the beach, good restaurants, nightlife and culture :)
