hi there, i'll be in Cebu city next week for 1 day and a night, it will be my first time to be there, can you pl help me what are the best places to visit or things to do in cebu in a one day visit? thanks a lot..
places to visit: magellan's cross, fort san pedro, sto. nino church, taoist temple (in bel air). things to do: eat cebu lechon, buy danggit/dried seafoods in taboan (carbon) market, buy dried mango/fruits. you may also browse through vt's cebu travel page for other details.

Try to include Tops Observation Deck and the Lapu-Lapu shrine too. =)

I very much enjoyed visiting the fort which was lovely. The cathedral was also lovely and we also went to see Magellan's cross. There were several shopping malls we had a look around and I believe we had lunch in one of them. Cebu City has several interesting historical sights, but there is also lot of poverty there.

there are many places to visit but its a must to go to CRAZY CRAB restaurant.. they have the best tasting garlic crab at a cheap price.. its a newly opened place in gaisano countrymall banilad

Places to visit: Colon area: Basilica de Sto Nino, Magellan's Cross, Fort San Pedro. Dont forget to drop by Island Souvenirs for your pasalubong . Prices of otap ,barquillos, peanut brittle same as Shamrock's store prices. Fuente Circle area which is a jeepney ride from colon or cab at less than Php 100- Crown Regency Plaza for roller edge coaster or sky walk. Php 888 pack consists of 1 ride either roller edge or sky walk, 1 4D movie , buffet lunch and free use of pool. Buffet is fantastic with a wide array of selection. Pool has plenty of jacuzzis. From 5 up , you can go to Larsian, at the back of Shamrock for the best tasting barbecue. Up hill you can go to Taoist Temple and the tops. Lapu Lapu City- Lapu Lapu shrine and Sutukil for best sea food. They also have stalls for pasalubong such native baskets at Php 100 up ,coral necklaces and trinkets. Get a good bargain for geniune pearls if you know how to haggle.
