Hello I am heading into Cavtat this weekend and I have yet to find a place to stay. As I am backpacking, I have not much money for Hotel. All apartments seem to be priced for groups. Any suggestions for a where a single traveler could stay in Cavtat would be much appreciated. Cheers.
In this area they have long traditions for accomodating people in private homes. Meaning, if you just go there, you will be offered a room. The bus station and the quay are the best places, or simply ask peple who work at cafees / restaurants whether they know somebody who lets out rooms. My best guess is you could get a room for 15 - 20 Euros. A good advice is to ask to see it before you decide and / or bargaining the price.
