Does someone know how much the taxi from Girona airport to Girona city centre will cost? I found one page saying it would be 22e. Our flight will arrive at 23.45, so we will miss the 23.30 bus. Or then we need to wait for the 00.30 bus. I don´t want to book anything, in case we might be late or even too early (it has happened with Ryanair sometimes!) The triip is in the end of August, so no hurry. Just curious..

I'm trying to find the lowest fares I can. I'd like to leave 6/7 from newark or JFK to Barcelona.
Then we want to return from Paris on 6/16.
I know that sometimes strange, odd, seemingly indirect routes can be much cheaper than the traditional flights, which right now are exhorbitant.

also - what can you tell me about train travel from barcelona to paris? or would it be better to fly?

Hi, I am going tomorrow to Malgrat de Mar and wonder what is the best and cheaper way to travel from Barcelona Sants to Blanes. Are there family tickets? I am going with my wife and 2 children (15 and 7 years old).

I love Estartit and used to go here loads as a kid. I love the long clean beaches, the bustling night life, the handy supermarkets everywhere and the opportunity for long walks up the mountain. Hi We are arriving at ten pm at the end of the month and need somewhere to stay which will be accessible to the train station the following day as somehow we will make our way to Costa Dorada (this is another question). i'll wisit Barcelona 8-13 may, and looking for budget place to stay. At this moment a choose beetwen Urbany Hostel and Equity Point Gothic. Both places has good review, provide B&B, free wifi.. etc. Which one better to choose?

My plane arrive to El Prat airport (BCN) at 22:50. what is the better way to get hostel? Both reception told me about "night bus" but i can not find any information about it.

Is there any other big towns with easy connect from Girona airport than Barcelona? I just checked cheapest flights from Tampere Finland with Ryanair to somewhere warm at beginning of september, and Girona was one opinion. The town itself might be one opinion, but would there be any bigger towns in maybe less than 2 hours in bus or something? We´ve allready been to Barcelona.

If I use the Barcelona Card on the Train from Airport in the evening , does that start the count of 1 day? even if I just use it to get to the city? thanks

I like to know if the taxis in Barcelona goes by the meter fare or negotiated flat rates? I hace enquired the taxi fare oneway from Barcelona airport to Sants is 38Euro all inclusive. Thinking if I should take the Aerobus and alight at P. Espana and take a cab to d'Alpens instead of walking wit luggage.

My husband( who has mobility problems and uses a walking stick) and I will be taking a Western Mediterrannean cruise leaving Rome and visiting Genoa, Provence (Marseilles), Barcelona, Palma De Mallorca and Valencia in Spain and back to Rome. When the ship docks, our time is limited when visiting these cities/towns.
I am also hard-pressed for time to do my own homework what with all the packing and medical appointments for the 2 of us,hence would appreciate any suggestions as to how we could go about and see some of the sights or town.
We don't have to do the must-see places unless it is really accessible by public transport as we are not taking the shore excursions from the ship as they are really astronomical in price and have been very disappointing.
1) Would appreciate info on how to get to nearest public transport station be it bus/metro from cruise terminal.(even if possible whether there are free shuttles from the berth to entrance of cruise terminal as that would save us walking the distance)
2) We don't even mind walking around town just enjoying the ambience so long as we can get reasonable and frequent public transport services back to cruise terminal.
Would appreciate any kind of help asap as we are leaving in a ffew days' time

Hi, im flying into Barcelona in July and staying in blanes, after our stay there we are going to stay in perpignan with some friend before flying back to uk from carcassonne. what options do i have in terms of getting from blanes to perpignan? Do trains run that way?
