We are a couple in our sixties and need a apartment for a month to six weeks in dec/jan when our daughter has her baby. We need an apartment to rent but hopefully not at an exorbitant price. Can anyone advise us as to good plces to look. Thank you.

I have to be in Castlemaine on Sunday 28th so need accomodation for that night. I will be travelling by train and so would like it within reasonable walking distance from the station. I also have to go to the Guildford Hotel in the afternoon which is on the Daylesford/Ballarat road. I might have to catch a taxi there. Does anyone have an idea how much that might cost?
