We will be traveling to Ireland in October of this year and we are trying to plan our time. Can anyone tell me the average amount of time it takes to tour the Rock of Cashel?
If you catch one of the guided tours it takes about 40 minutes so allow 1 1/2 hours max. The Rock and tour is to my mind one of the best value €6 to be spent.

Be sure to visit the Cashel Palace Hotel at the foot of the Rock! Awesome pub! It has autographs on the wall of may famous celebrities who have visited and is the place where Guinness was first brewed.
