Cats in Cascais

Hey... I know this is a weird question but does anyone know if there are many cats around Cascais....it's just that i've a bad fear of them and i'm going there on hols in july. Plus i'm staying at the Hotel Vila Gale Village....whats it like..anyone stayed there... reviews don't seem to be bad. Any tips at all on places to shop...good bargains etc....plus the prices of a pint or a meal for two with wine...whatever info you might have would be gratefully appreciated. Thanks for any help. xx
