I'll be coming to Cartagena in a business mission with my company that might last for six months and I have the following inquiries : 1- If I'm coming from Cairo-Egypt what's the best route to take to get to Cartagena ? 2- What's the average living expenses in Cartagena ( accommodaion, food , etc..) 3- Is there any safety/security tips to take care of ? 4- What are the transportation available inside the city ? 5- Any other relebvant information ?

I suppose you'll take a flight. That'll be the fastest way. I'm sure that you'll arive to Madrid and then, from there you can take another flight to San Javier airport (only 25 km from Cartagena). A taxi will drive you to the city centre. Cartagena is not a very big city so you can go around walking. Anyway there are buses, taxis (they are expensive)
