manzanillo: you only atop for lunch - then they drive you back. when I was there - three years ago - many companies were selling the tour, but actually there was just one operator running it. It was something like 12 dollars or so. i hope this helps... i also hope someone has better and more updated info Rhia

oh wow.. i knew it.. I figure that being there, you can find a good deal. I have look online and I have found prices from 35 dlls up to 80 dlls per person which i found ridiculous. I will keep my eyes open to find cheaper one.. Do you remember where you found yours?

Hi Lucia! Several tour operators in Cartagena offers minibus trips to the volcano. I did the tour with Ecoturismo Los Pinos and can recommend them: the service was good and the guide nice and friendly. I booked it through hotel Porvenir where I was staying. The tour was 35.000 COP (January 2010) and included a transportation to the volcano and lunch in Manzanillo del Mar fishing village on the return journey. ecoturismolospinos.com/princ... tel.: (34) 699724189 Hope you'll enjoy the tour!
