Appropriate Attire

I'm planng a visit to Cartagena on October 20, 2010 for one week. I would also like to visit Bogata. I'd like some guidance as to what type of attire is appropriate for this time of the year for general site seeing. Also, what type of clothing is acceptable for dinner in the evening (8:00-11:00 pm.

In Cartagena you can wear any light clothes. Here is really hot and wet right now, so you can be comfortable with cotton t-shirts, pants or shorts. In Bogota, you´ll be OK with jeans, shirt and light jackets. For evening, you can go with dockers, formal jacket and shirt. You'll be ok in casual shoes...
