I'm planning a trip to Legoland in Carlsbad. What trains would I catch from Riveride La Sierra to Carlsbad?
From Riverside, take the Inland-Orange County Metrolink Line to the Oceanside station. There, transfer to the Coaster train southbound toward San Diego. At the Carlsbad Poinsetta station, get off and take the NCTD "Breeze" 321 to Legoland. You can buy a single regional day pass to use for the Coaster and Breeze routes, but it won't work for Metrolink, which requires a separate fare. I also don't think the regional pass is cheaper than actually paying the fares on both the train and bus, even round-trip.
