Hi all, Is it advisable to move to naples a day before flying out or is it quite easy to get to naples airport direct from capri?thanks for yor help.
Depends on the time of your flight, remembering that you'll need to be at the airport at least 2 hours before departure. If it is in the morning or early afternoon I'd want to be sure of getting there by staying on the mainland overnight. But I am a cautious soul, and hate feeling rushed and stressed pre-flights. It's perfectly feasible to get ferry from Capri, then bus or taxi from Molo Beverello to Piazza Garibaldi (where Napoli Centrae is) for the airport bus......or taxi all the way, if you wish. Taxi flat rates can be found in English here (scroll down for pdf): portal.gesac.it/portal/page/... but be aware that a) I do not know if this info is up-to-date...probably not, as it is dated 2007 b) you must ask for the flat fare before you enter the taxi and c) there are various other bits & pieces which must be added to the fare. Naples traffic can be extremely congested, so allow plenty of time for that part of the journey.
