Absolutely. There are trees, foliage and shrubs that flower best in Winter- as well as many native species. The tearoom/resturant serves excellent teas and lunches. There are free guide pamphlets available- which will show you what routes to take while walking. Take along your camera- lots of photo ops. Magnificent view of Table Mountain.

Yes! I was there last July and we had a lovely visit. Didn't get there until about 3pm but as the gardens were open to 6 or 7 we had plenty of time to wander around, take pics and enjoy the place. I loved the natives and some of the really unusual plants, the sculpture garden and the hot house area (do that last as you are leaving). The views are great too.

Our national flower, the protea, blooms in winter. Agree with the other posts - the gardens are good all year round. There are also 2 good restaurants in the gardens.
