We are planing a short stay in Cape Canaveral in January 2006. We will land in Orlando around 5:30PM and we will go directly to the hotel. 1/ I wish to know what would be the best location that means for me : - 1 hour maximum from Oralndo airport - on the beach - near the space center - with real life : stores, restaurants, etc.. 2/ In the city you advice, do you know a good hotel : - 150$ tax include maximum - with a parking - on the beach - with a pool Thanks RAY

We have stayed at The Wakulla Suites in Cocoa Beach for the past 4 years. It is on the beach, has a heated pool, all suites are 2 bedroom with a dinette and kitchen with all cookware and dishware provided. It is a family kind of place very low-key.
