Hi, Could someone please give me a hint on taxi and/or limousine prices in Cannes? Are they more expensive during the festival? Thanks, A. B.
well during the festival everything goes up a bit, but do not know the taxis, usually there I am on foot coming by car or train/bus on business trips. You can ask the tourist office for an estimate.

I think it is not allowed here to mention limousine companies, so you should look up some and ask them yourself; try a transportation directory or other services like Limousine Center that forwards your offer requests to several companies so you can get several offers for free. Check limousine-center.com/limousi... . If you prefer taxis, as far as I remember they are going around fix 3 Euros + 3 Euros/km - but I'm not sure, call the Cannes tourist office: +33 (0) 4 9399 1977.

as above, cannes is a fabulous walking city, we never came near a taxi.

Cannes is quite small. If you are staying in Cannes during the Festival, you can walk wherever you need to be in no more than 15 minutes. The better hotels are on or near the Croisette, and all the venues in use during the Festival are also on or within a few blocks of the Croisette.
